With more than a decade of clinical experience as a Clinical Psychologist, Anastasia has served in the public and private healthcare domains where she was heavily involved in an array of outpatient and inpatient psychological services. Anastasia had attained her Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Psychology and Master of Psychology (Clinical) with the National University of Singapore (NUS). Through her clinical practice in the
Institute of Mental Health (IMH), the National University Hospital (NUH) and several private hospitals, she has had the opportunity to work with a diverse clinical population characterised by varying
demographic profiles and presenting mental health issues. Her proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese has enabled her to engage with and render psychological care and support to a multitude of individuals who struggle with various psychological disorders. She has and continues to work with older adolescents, adults and the elderly in a collaborative and eclectic manner, that is rooted in evidence-based practice.
While evidence-based interventions are central to her clinical practice, Anastasia’s governing belief that each individual is a unique vessel of strengths, competencies and the potential for growth, motivates
her to adopt a person-centric approach that seeks to, amongst multiple therapeutic objectives, empower and restore psychological wellness, as well as facilitate growth and self-actualisation through a
cohesive blend of appropriate therapy modalities.
With an unyielding belief that one’s psychological well-being is essential and key to meaningful, holistic and quality living, Anastasia continues to devote herself to the betterment and optimisation of mental health.
