Steven has been active for 10 years in the local mental healthcare landscape. His journey began with a two-year tenure as a dedicated school counselor at a secondary school, followed by eight years as a clinical psychologist upon completing his Masters training in Singapore, during he primarily worked within the Ministry of Social and Family Development.

His current focus lies in aiding individuals grappling with various emotional challenges, such as depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and insomnia. Additionally, he has extensive experience helping individuals with impulse control difficulties, including addiction behaviors and stealing, as well as those navigating eating disorders or body image concerns.

Steven’s therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in evidence-based methodologies, drawing from Applied Behavior Analysis, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Schema Therapy. Beyond clinical assessments, Steven also conducts medico-legal assessments.

Adopting a person-centered, compassion-focused stance, Steven extends a nonjudgmental hand to anyone seeking his guidance and to collaboratively assist with their challenges.
